About Hannah Miller
I have spent fifteen years working with counted cross stitch, from my first Aida cloth to sourcing kits and grids for shops across Europe. My focus stays narrow on purpose: DMC floss quality, Aida weave consistency, needle and hoop ergonomics, and finishing techniques that hold up over time. I buy what I would stitch myself, and I test every pattern before it reaches a customer.
How I Test Every Kit
Before any kit or grid earns a place in our catalog, I stitch a sample section myself, checking thread count against the printed chart, floss colorfastness, and fabric hand. I compare DMC skeins against older dye lots for consistency and try each needle size on the actual Aida count specified. If a pattern is confusing or a fabric puckers under tension, it does not get listed.
